my regimen is use cleansing foam in shower and then when i get out i put on oil-free moisturizer
and then every morning when i wake up i just simply wash my face with water

um if your putting foam on your face in the shower when you come out your face could be red and blotchy looking from the hot water hitting your face, if you have sensitive skin i wouldnt recommend it you should be gentle to avoid irritating it more. honestly i have been struggling with acne for a while the only way to get it under control (not fully gone) is to ask your doctor set up a doctors appointment for your skin, they will proscribe you creams and maybe some pills to help fight the infections on your face, creams specifically for you skin, honestly its the only thing that works. proactive, clean and clear, skin ID, max clarity, clinique, neutrogena all causes acne or doesnt make it go away so you use more and buy more. make up causes acne as well (as you probably know) ALL OF IT, is set up to give you acne so you do the same thing, use more and buy more. only makeup i have found that doesnt cause it is glo minerals which isnt very cheap. good luck<3 (:
